When times are tough, Lifeline Harbour to Hawkesbury Sydney is there for our community with services and practical support, such as Emergency Relief. By donating non-perishable food items, you can make sure we can be there with food when we're needed.

Providing food is a practical and sometimes necessary way of letting people know we care – your donation of non-perishable food items will make a difference.

Items we particularly need that store well include:

As well as our crisis-support services, we keep a pantry of shelf-stable food for those going through financial difficulties as part of our Emergency Relief service, and welcome clean donations within their use-by or best-before dates.

  • long-life milk

  • tea, coffee, Milo

  • breakfast cereals, such as Weet-Bix

  • jam, peanut butter, Vegemite

  • canned fruit and vegetables, soup, tuna, baked beans

  • dried goods, such as pasta, rice, noodles

  • meals that are shelf-stable.
