To access our bulk-billed service, you will need to be over 18. We prioritise seeing clients who live in the Northern Sydney region.
You will also need to have a:

Call 02 8287 1126 for our intake desk.
Clients seeking psychological services are required to complete a brief 10-minute intake interview.

Our services
Making it easy to get the support you need
If you’d like to see a psychologist, we run an appointment-only service from Monday to Friday.
Sessions are held in person at our Gordon and North Sydney offices, with parking and public transport nearby. Please let us know if in-person sessions are difficult, as we may be able to arrange a telehealth consultation instead.
There are no out-of-pocket expenses for our bulk-billed Psychological Service, but you do need a referral letter and Mental Health Treatment Plan from your GP or Psychiatrist.
You will be able to see a psychologist for six sessions, and an additional four sessions can be requested. We can also help you access other services at Lifeline H2HS, such as Financial Counselling and Support and Treatment Groups, and other providers if needed.
If you don’t have a Mental Health Treatment Plan or a referral, please talk to your doctor or psychiatrist, or visit our Counselling services.

Our areas of expertise
You are more than a label or diagnosis
Our highly qualified and registered psychologists draw on a range of skills and experiences to support you in your journey toward mental wellbeing.
Whether you’re dealing with depression and anxiety, mood disorders, chronic pain, obsessive-compulsive or panic disorders, life transitions and adjustments, stress and sleep problems or complex trauma, our respectful and compassionate psychologists will work with you through the challenges you’re facing.
We’re known for our expertise in working with those who’ve made a suicide attempt, are at risk of suicide or live with chronic suicidality. And we also have specific expertise with veterans and their families, and those with hoarding disorder and their families.
We’re here for our community as a whole – we see men and women from a diverse range of backgrounds and understand the myriad and complex difficulties many are experiencing, from cost-of-living pressures to family violence.
Our approach is founded on clinical research and evidence around building resilience and wellbeing, and we believe that when successfully treated and supported, all individuals can lead meaningful, fulfilling and engaged lives – that is, experience positive mental health.
Whatever you’re going through, we’re here.
