Ceiny Maybury

Ceiny delivers training in Suicide Prevention and Mental Health, to student Telephone Crisis Supporters at both Lifeline Harbour to Hawkesbury Sydney and Lifeline Northern Beaches. She also delivers training to other tertiary and corporate organisations.

As a face to face counsellor with many years’ experience in the area of suicide bereavement, Ceiny believes that everyone has the right to be heard and given the opportunity to share their grief.

Group members, with the lived experience of suicide bereavement, are the experts in this area and Ceiny believes that those bereaved by suicide, benefit by sharing their grief with those who “really get it”.

Caroline McGrory

Caroline has been working at Lifeline Harbour to Hawkesbury Sydney on the 13 11 14 line for thirteen years as a telephone crisis supporter and supervisor.

She has a Graduate Diploma in Counselling for Health and Social Care. She has been a personal counsellor and group co-facilitator for two years and is currently co-facilitating the Suicide Bereavement Support Group.

Caroline uses a person-centred approach and has professional experience dealing with Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault, Mental Illness and Suicide Prevention. She believes in encouraging and empowering our clients to reach their own personal goals.

Olivia Saxon

Olivia Saxon

Olivia has a Masters in Counselling and Psychotherapy and has been working at Lifeline for 10 years. Olivia works at Lifeline as a face to face counsellor, seeing a diverse range of clients, with issues such as depression, anxiety, bereavement, relationship, domestic violence, and trauma. Olivia also works as a group facilitator and as Clinical Coordinator

She practices using a range of therapeutic techniques. She works at the client’s own pace to provide a safe nurturing environment in which to explore the client’s journey forward. Olivia uses a person-centered approach to counselling using techniques including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Positive Psychology and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.

Olivia facilitates the Black Dog REACH program for depression and bipolar, the Suicide Bereavement Group and the Eclipse Group.

Olivia strongly believes that groups provide a nurturing, positive and safe environment for learning and connecting with others, giving participants an increased sense of hope as well as providing them with invaluable new skills.

Emma Hartcliff

Emma is a registered Counsellor with the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA). She trained as a Lifeline Telephone Crisis Supporter before joining the Clinical Counselling team at Lifeline Harbour to Hawkesbury Sydney in 2018.

Emma works as a face-to-face counsellor, seeing a diverse range of clients experiencing depression, anxiety, bereavement, grief and loss, relationship issues, and trauma. Emma also works as a Groups Coordinator and Facilitator.

With a strong belief in the therapeutic and transformative power of groups, Emma facilitates the Black Dog Institute REACH program for Depression and Bipolar, and the Suicide Bereavement Group.

Emma approaches counselling collaboratively, using mindfulness-based techniques such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and with emphasis on the mind-body and nervous system connection.

Emma encourages mindful presence, self-awareness, self-observation, and self-compassion in daily life. She believes in building trusting relationships for clients to feel safe and supported, and in destigmatising mental health.

Judy Dalgarno

Judy brings compassion and empathy together with consistent dedication to her role as a lead facilitator on both the Eclipse Group for Survivors of a Suicide Attempt and the Suicide Bereavement Group. Judy’s focus is on suicide prevention and supporting those bereaved by suicide. 

Judy holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Counselling (Coaching) and is a Clinical Member of PACFA.

Her approach is grounded in the belief that every participant is the expert of their own life. She fosters a space where active listening and kindness are not just values—they're tools for healing. Through her facilitation, she encourages peer support and empowers individuals to connect, reflect, and grow at their own pace. 

Rebuilding hope is at the heart of her work—supporting each client as they rediscover meaning and motivation for living.

Kathryn Cordier

Kathryn is a Psychotherapist and Counsellor and is registered at a clinical level with PACFA. Kathryn trained and worked as a Lifeline Telephone Crisis Supporter before joining the Clinical Counselling team at Lifeline Harbour to Hawkesbury Sydney.

In her counselling work Kathryn helps people move through challenges they may be facing such as stress, relationship issues, grief and loss, life transitions, anxiety, depression and trauma.

Kathryn incorporates a number of counselling techniques into her practice so as to be flexible in responding to people’s individual needs. Being person centred, trauma informed and strengths based are important components of Kathryn’s work, together with using developments in neuroscience and mindfulness based approaches to support people in developing a more positive connection with themselves and those who are important to them.

Kathryn co-facilitates the Carer Support Group and strongly believes in the power of groups to help people connect, build resilience and develop a greater sense of well being.

Rebecca Adorni

Rebecca is a registered Counsellor with the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA). She trained as a Lifeline Telephone Crisis Supporter before joining the Clinical Counselling team at Lifeline Harbour to Hawkesbury Sydney in 2020.

Rebecca facilitates the Hope Program, a support group for carers, family members, and friends supporting a loved one experiencing suicidal ideation or recovering from a suicide attempt. Rebecca also co-facilitates the Wellbeing Support Group; a monthly group for graduates of Lifeline's REACH group for depression/bipolar support, revisiting  strategies to manage ongoing symptoms and increasing wellbeing.

She is passionate about creating spaces where people feel safe to be themselves - where they can share openly, feel understood, and experience a sense of connection with others who truly “get it.” She values the power of group work in fostering shared understanding, resilience, and meaningful growth, and is continually inspired by the ways shared experience can support connection and healing.

Her approach, both with individual clients and in groups, is compassionate, trauma-informed, and neurodiversity-affirming, with a strong focus on collaboration and psychological safety.

Anna Sheppard

Anna is a registered Counsellor with the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia, working across individual counselling and group programs for Lifeline Harbour to Hawkesbury. She co-facilitates both the Wellbeing Support Group and a Hoarding Support Group, supporting clients with a range of emotional and life challenges.

Anna is guided by a strong belief in the value of connection, respect, and practical support. She is motivated by helping people make sense of their experiences, build resilience, and create meaningful, sustainable change in their lives.
